The Dell Philippines, led by its site leader Venky Bobba, recently treated the children from the Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. from Pampanga, Laguna, Cavite and Project 8 residential centers to the Manila Ocean Park last October 23.
Accompanied by the parents and guardians, the children were delighted for the rare opportunity of having a trip to a world-class theme park.
According to Bobba, bringing the children over the park was an opportunity for everyone to learn about marine life and discover amazing ocean creatures. It also served as an avenue for the Dell executives to have a bonding time with the beneficiaries.
Upon the delegation’s arrival, the Dell staff had their opening remarks welcoming the children before the educational tour. The group then enjoyed the sumptuous food beforehand.
After the restaurant stopover, the children were brought to the spectacular Symphony Fountain Show, the Philippines’ first and tallest musical fountain. Amazement was etched on their faces as they journeyed to the Ocenarium and encountered a variety of marine creatures indigenous to the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
The experience made the children happy, wishing that another trip will be made soon.
Bobba was happy to know that it was the first time for the CJFI kids at the Manila Ocean Park and had enjoyed their trip.
“The smiles they had on their faces were very priceless. It really inspires us to touch more lives in our own little ways,” said Bobba.
Expressing optimism that this will not be the last trip, Bobba left a reminder to the children to always pray, to study hard and to reach for their dreams.
Johna Maria Barrera, one of the beneficiaries, is thankful for the opportunity given to them. She deeply expressed her enjoyment and appreciation.
Meanwhile, nine-year-old Clifford Rosas, thanked Dell for caring and making them feel extra special even for a short span of time.
It was indeed a one memorable learning experience for the kids – a once-in-a-lifetime experience that they will forever cherish in their hearts.
