THE Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. (CJFI) sponsored a one-day team building activity for Area-based Standard Network (Absnet) last Sept. 25 at the Kingdom Beach Resort, Babak in the Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos), Davao del Norte. A total of 25 members of Cluster 2 Absnet joined the event that underscored the need for strengthening teamwork among co-members for the purpose of establishing an effective workplace. Agencies represented were Pacaf, Babas Foundation; Neo Kids House, Palm Haven, Maharlika, Bukas Palad, Young David, Josefa Pre-school, SOS Children’s Village, Children of St. Dominic, Davao Stepping Stone and Masfi. The activity was also geared at establishing cooperation and to learn effective strategies, thus, improving productivity. SOS Children’s Village director Leonillo ‘Bem-bem’ Rivero gave participants an overview of the event as he also introduced the newly-elected Absnet regional president Rosemarie N. Dimagnaong, CJFI executive director and former Cluster 2 Absnet president. CJFI also hosted a sumptuous lunch for the attendees who also had a grand time swimming and taking pictures of the resort’s great view.
