The Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. (CJFI) inaugurates its state-of-the-art three-storey CJFI Residential Care Center at Purok 8, San Miguel Drive in Brgy. Indangan, Buhangin District in Davao City today, April 28.

CJFI founder Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy said, “I’m overjoyed, thanks to the Almighty Father. We can accommodate more destitute children, investing in their future to become active contributing members in the community and in the country. This is a small endeavor to help these children. I’m very happy. This is only the beginning, this is not the end.”

Pastor Quiboloy led the groundbreaking ceremony of the multi-million facility last May, 14, 2015.

CJFI executive director Rosemarie Navallo-Dimagnaong has considered the new residential center as the mother of all CJFI residential centers in the country on terms of amenities and services.

Amenities include a mini-library, playroom, computer laboratory, social activity area, clinic, isolation room for sick client, a room for person with disability or PWD, counseling room, and observation room for client with emotional and psychological concerns. The residential home also has spacious dining room, fully air-conditioned bedrooms that boast of a world class unique design, furnished with child-friendly compact beddings installed with individual closets.

The shelter is also equipped with a 24-hour monitoring closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and perimeter fence since security is a top priority for a residential center.

Priming up for the Level 3 accreditation, CJFI offers social services, case management, home life services, educational services, psychological services, medical and dental services, skills development services, spiritual services, after-care services, and sports and recreation services.

CJFI Davao center head Marichel Eyog, meanwhile, said, “With the new building, we will serve more neglected, dependent, abandoned and orphaned children so we are equipping ourselves with the necessary knowledge and skills to still maintain excellent results in what we do.”

The new residential center is located in a four-hectare property donated by Pastor Quiboloy to CJFI. This property will also house the new Jose Maria College annex campus, the Home for the Elderly. Also the Corporate Social Responsibility head-quarters office of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.
